Association Regio Water
Objectives: Influence the policy instrument “Programme Space of the Province of Zuid-Holland” and implement a number of new, smaller investment projects streamlining increased recreational use and protection measures. Within the action plan Association Regio Water and the province of Zuid- Holland aimed to improve knowledge, efficiency and fast results through the strategic implementation of projects.
Goals reached: (General) Several smaller investment projects have been realized. Knowledge has been improved. And continued enthusiasm for further investment.
Tipperary County Council
Objectives: Influence the policy instrument “Development Plan for County Tipperary” and reach an increased percentage of number of visitors with raised awareness on heritage in the area. Within the action plan Tipperary County Council also aimed to implement Green and Blue actions, improve capacity and engage stakeholders through partnering and dissemination.
Goals reached: (General) Tipperary County Council has made progress on their action plan implementation and implemented several of their actions.
Metropolitan City of Milan
Objectives: Influence the policy instrument “ROP Lombardia ERDF 2014-2020” and increasing the number of institutionalized territorial networks of heritage related stakeholders in the Naviglio Martesana area. Within the action plan Metropolitan City of Milan aimed to improve waterway management, create a Map of Community and enhance the public and touristic use of historic, cultural and natural heritage along the regional inland waterway system.
Goals reached: MCM has improved the public knowledge ad awareness about the metropolitan inland waterway system and related assets, has contributed to influence the regional policy instrument and has passed the baton to an other Interreg project – LUIGI – to continue to enhance green and blue infrastructures within the regional policies.
Pons Danubii EGTC
Objectives: Influence the policy instrument “Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary 2014-2020” and increase the number of hectares better conserved surface area of habitats due to enhanced heritage management structures. Within their action plan Pons Danubii also aimed create a sustainability manual based on new projects implemented and furthering and improving the goals of the Cooperation Programme.
Goals reached: Pons Danubii has made very good progress by establishing several thematic parks and with the continued organization of professional stakeholder group meetings and cross-border networking events.
Vidzeme Planning Region
Objectives: Influence the policy instrument “National Operating Programme “Growth and Employment”” and increasing the number of new, integral services developed contributing to sustainable heritage valorization. Within the action plan Vidzeme Planning Region aims to improve results to preserve, protect and develop important cultural and natural heritage, strengthening cooperation and improving local development strategies.
Goals reached: Vidzeme Planning reached already inspiring results. Several projects focused on natural and cultural heritage including public involvement were funded and there are continued stakeholder meetings with important parties and the managing authorities.
